05-31-08 LA CA: 2206 hrs. Last night, I went to a place called the Mint and checked out some comics. Janeane Garofalo was on the bill and I took her down to the show and checked out all the acts. Every one of the comedians had good material. After I dropped Janeane off, I got back to the house and stayed up for awhile and then got up a few hours later and have been going ever since. I don’t know what I’m running on, even post workout, I am feeling pretty good. I got a lot done today, mostly radio work for the shows upcoming. The really cool Bellari analog to digital converter with the USB output came with the wrong power source, making the component buzz badly so I was not able to make any progress for getting vinyl swapped over for next week’s show but I will hopefully get the power source later in the week and get to work. Past the buzz, it’s a great piece of gear and the software I downloaded per Road Manager Ward’s instruction is easy to understand and will make for some great radio shows later in the year. I am listening to Dinosaur Jr. very loud and it’s treating me rather well.
