08-26-08 Edinburgh Scotland: 1901 hrs. Tonight is the last night of the run of shows here at the Edinburgh Festival. I hope I can come back next year and do a longer run. The last few days have been eventful. On Saturday morning, I took the train from here to Leeds for the Leeds Festival. I was onstage at 1330 hrs. and off an hour later. Road Manager Ward and I went to Oxford and spent the night and then the next day, drove to Reading where I was onstage at 1345 hrs. at the Reading Festival for an hour. That might have been the largest audience I have ever been in front of on my own. I left the site very quickly and went right to Heathrow and flew back here, had a couple of hours off and then went and did the show here at 2245 hrs. By the time I walked back in here post show, I was pretty worn out but happy to have done all the shows. Tomorrow is a day off, we will be driving from here down to Cambridge to be ready for the show there on Wednesday. I will be in the UK until the end of the week and then back to America. The shows have been good so far, the audiences have been great and I am looking forward to getting onstage tonight.
