DISPATCHES

09-27-09 LA CA: 1414 hrs. In the office. The last week has been blurry and low on sleep but I caught up a little over this weekend. I have started work on next week’s radio show and expect to have a good bit of it finished by tonight.

I will be flying east next week to get all the copies of A Mad Dash signed. They are at the warehouse. I don’t know when Heidi plans to put them up for sale but obviously, you will be the first to be informed. As to other stuff on the site, the sale goes on.

Tour dates. The legs of the tour are being booked, have been booked and will be booked. Basically, it’s happening. Here’s the very basic breakdown of the whole thing: The tour will start in mid January in Europe. In late February or thereabouts, the tour will come to America for several weeks. After that, the tour goes to Australia and perhaps other places in the region, that’s part of the will be booked part of the thing. After all that smoke clears, the tour returns to America for another few weeks or whatever makes sense. After that, the tour will go to Europe for as many dates, festival and other that we can get. I am guessing that the whole thing will come to a grinding halt at the Edinburgh Festival in August, that is if we can get me booked into it. We will post dates as soon as they are all firmed up. We will put them in the News & Tour Dates section on the site, I will also list them here. Until then, just know that it’s all in the works and there will be many shows next year, at least one hundred, hopefully more.

I have yet to catch up on all the things said at the UN General Assembly meeting but I mean to do so. I know that Ahmadinejad blew minds as he always does when he speaks and that Gadhafi rambled on and on. I want to read the transcripts if they are on the internet. I have been looking at videos of G20 protests and it’s always the same, to me at least. Everyone’s standing around and eventually, the cops and the people move towards each other and all of a sudden it goes from a shoving match that the police take as provocative action and then it’s on. Every time the Group Of Whatever Number it is this year gets together, you always see how law enforcement reacts to gatherings of the citizenry. Scientifically speaking, it’s pretty fucked up.

I went back into the editing bay to work on more talking records and will be back in on Thursday, I will let you know how that is coming along next Sunday.

I am looking forward to being on the east coast next week. I will write again from there. Thanks for reading this. Henry
