RADIO BROADCAST #862
10–11–25
Fanatic! What a show we have for you tonight. The Misfits going right into David Bowie to start us off completely works for me.
I hope you’ve been enjoying October thus far. I’ve been doing my best to keep up with all the new music that’s coming in, as well as revisiting old favorites as I like to do in this month.
Snooper’s excellent new album Worldwide came out last week and if you mail ordered, it should be arriving about now. I think mine landed yesterday. Definitely going to get that one spinning as soon as possible. Here’s the Bandcamp info: https://snooper7.bandcamp.com/album/worldwide
Here’s information on that excellent new Kid Congo album Tucson Safari.

The new Guerilla Toss album You’re Weird Now continues to be a super cool listen. If you like the track we’re playing tonight, the rest of their catalog should be checked out without hesitation. I dug them the first time I was lucky enough to connect with their excellent music. This is a great band.

The Grouper album Way Their Crept is getting a 20th anniversary reissue. Any record Liz Harris releases should be checked out. She’s never anything less than full on.

Fanatic, if you look below, you’ll see a gathering of tunes that was selected specifically with your great enjoyment in mind. I took both hours to the gym and over a couple of days, plodding away on the elliptical treadmill, it sounded like a good mixtape to me. Hopefully, you’ll find the jams to be worth your while.
October is an amazing month! If you're located where you can actually see and feel seasonal change, I hope you get out there and breathe it in. Whenever possible, make time for music. Lots of it!
We very much hope you dig tonight’s show. Thank you for tuning in and picking up on this brave NPR signal. Have a great weekend and STAY FANATIC!!!
