RADIO BROADCAST #864

10–25–25

Fanatic! You might remember, last week I asked you to check the show notes for tonight. I just wanted to tell you that Larry Hardy at In The Red Records and I have another cool record at the pressing plant. We think you’re going to like this one. I’m not exactly sure when it will be back, but it won’t be long. When we have possession of them, I’ll let you know.

Also, I’m going to be putting up an announcement late next week, having to do with our show. So, if you can, please check out the site for the announcement, I’d say Thursday.

Also, I wanted to tell you that Ian MacKaye and I recently mixed some tracks at Don Zientara’s Inner Ear Studios. We mastered the tracks with Pete Lyman at Infrasonic Sound and will be pressing them onto vinyl soon. It’s going to be a great one. When I have more news about a release date, I will let you know.

Fanatic, we have what you will hopefully fine to be a tremendous gathering of tunes in the mood of October. And what would that be, exactly? Well, I’m glad I asked me. In our first hour, we will celebrate the month of months with bands and songs that, if you’re a listener to this show with any regularity, you might have become somewhat familiar with. As Thomas Wolfe, the great writer from Asheville, North Carolina once said in his book Of Time And The River—October is about returning.

In our second hour, we’ll put some newer tracks into the mix. I’m already getting notices from some of our favorite labels, that there’s quite a bit to look forward to next year. I space. I’ll be getting album downloads very soon and of course will bring the music to you when the labels give us the green light. Definitely some great records on the way.

I hope that wherever you are, you’re enjoying October. Have a great weekend and STAY FANATIC!!!
