Fanatic! I’m going to apologize in advance for the brevity of these notes. I am well into day number five of no electricity. Snow, fallen trees, downed powerlines, etc. I’m going to dash off these brief notes, then get into my car and try and find Internet access. I’m thinking of a strip mall parking lot down the road. I will send these notes off to those who know what to do with them and scurry back to my freezing abode before the slush turns back to ice and makes the roads treacherous.
In big news, I went to the supermarket last night just to remember what heat felt like I was able to secure a can of coffee. I saved it for today to have something to look forward to. It doesn’t taste good, but I remember something David Lynch once said in an interview about even bad tasting coffee being good enough. He was of course, correct. Sleeping in below freezing temperatures is interesting. Fleece-lined sweatpants were a wise purchase.
