Fanatic! I hope the week was not too bruising and that you had the occasion to check out some great music. I’ve been getting some good listening in. It’s around this time of the year I start listening to a lot of Raw Power-era Stooges. What I mean by era is there’s a lot of music the band left in their comet trail of fury from 1973 into the first two months of 1974. There was of course the album but if you drill down deeper, there’s a lot more to check out. Hopefully, you won’t mind this short list of releases featuring the band live and at practice. Absolutely blistering.

Please note, there is a tremendous amount of overlap on these records, especially when it comes to the practice sessions but I think they’re all worth checking out. I’ve been listening to selections from these for the last several nights. I think it’s some of the best Rock music ever made.
